Our IHL Action Campaign is focused on refugees and healthcare. All over the world, where there are refugees, it is hard for them to have healthcare. Some of them do not even have houses, like the guy I saw in a video* with his family. They live in Syria in buildings that have been destroyed in the war because they don’t have money to rent another house.
It was snowing and they don’t have money to rent a house. Think about that. What if they caught a cold? What will they do?
In another video from Somalia, there were a lot people fighting not just for food but also for medicine. Some of them even were shot by security.
Think about if that were you. What would you do for this to stop? If people don’t have medicine, they will only get sicker.

* These are examples of videos that cover issues related to healthcare in danger in Syria and Somalia. The purpose of the IHL Action Campaign is for young people to teach their peers about the importance of IHL, as well as issues related to healthcare in danger, torture, and humanitarianism.
